Event Description
London's Hardest Mile is an endurance experience that challenges you to complete four laps (ie one mile) on a running track using a different movement each lap and all within a one hour time limit. The four movements are Burpee Broad Jumps, Lunges, Bear Crawl & Run and must be done in that order.
All participants will start at the same time in your designated Heat. After you complete each lap, we will mark your wristband to keep track of how many laps you completed.
You will have one hour to get as far as you can with the goal of reaching the one mile distance (ie. four laps around the track). I's not about the fastest time, its about finishing.
Water Stations
We recommend that participants bring two water bottles to the event. You will be able to place your water bottle on the side of the track at the start line and halfway to access it at any time during the event.
We will not be able to provide water stations for this event.
Refund & Waiver Policies
No refunds will be allowed once a ticket is purchased, unless the event is cancelled. If you would like to transfer your ticket to another participant, you must contact us by 5pm on 20th Sept.
The event will be held rain or shine.

Time Tracking
It's not about the fastest time, its about finishing within the one hour time limit.
We will have one main timer for all participants. We do not have individual chip tracking for this event.
We recommend participants bring their own timer if they would like to know their specific finish time.
Awards
There are no awards for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place finishers as we want the participants to be focused on finishing the challenge rather than doing it the fastest.
With that said, if you finish within the 1 hour time limit, you will earn our coveted "Red Sticker"
What to Bring
In general, prepare as if you were going to a workout class or running in a race.
- Physical or digital version of your ticket
- Water bottle(s) - recommend two to put one at start line and one at the halfway point.
- Sunglasses or hat
- Snack, gels
- Headphones/music
- Light gloves or KT Tape - something to consider to protect your hands from the track when doing Burpees and Bear Crawls but the event can be done without this.

LOCATION DETAILS
Parliament Hill Fields Athletics Track
The course will be on a standard athletic running track that has a firm but forgiving synthetic rubber surface. There are bathroom facilities at the track.
Each lap around the track is 400m or 1/4 of a mile. You will aim to do 4 total laps to complete one mile, using a different movement for each lap.
